Happy New Year!
Thank you for your interest in ProvidentPeople.net and your
patience as we work out the kinks in the system. It’s exciting to
talk with new people as they join and to hear how important the old
network has been to their families. Our goal is to continue that
heritage and to expand the benefits! The more member families we
have, the greater our bargaining power with vendors. So, spread the
word! Let’s get growing!!

Tip of the
Month:
|
Have you ever wished you could easily calculate the combined
nutritional value of recipe contents? Walton Feed has a free
spreadsheet you can download to do just that. Just follow the link:
http://waltonfeed.com/download.html
If you’d like to explore more ingredient options, you can
download them from the USDA at:

Member
Input: |
From time to time, we’ll ask our members to share their
experiences on various topics. This month’s question is:
What is your favorite recipe or method of using food storage
item(s)?
This does not have to be an item from a
Nutty Guys or Waltons order! It can be something from your garden, a
home canning item, anything you use from your own home food storage.
Please submit comments to kathryn@ProvidentPeople.net
if you have a favorite recipe, idea, or short cut! We want to hear
from you! Replies selected will be posted in upcoming
newsletters.

Special
Thanks!! |
I would like to say a special thank you to each person who
worked so tirelessly to launch this new network – Kirk and Phyllis
Pollard, Dawn Shelstad, Wade Wallin, and Warren Fitch. Each one was
inspired by the value of the original Food Storage Group, and they
put in countless hours to lay a solid foundation for the new group.
Thank you to Anita Hess for her support and for sharing her
experience and insights.
Thank you to each of you for your trust, your confidence, and
your vision!
Please write to me if you would like to be involved, we are
always looking for great people to offer their talents in their area
of expertise. Kathryn@providentpeople.net
Happy Holidays,
Kathryn Vander Meulen Director,
